Once Upon A Pastime is a classic-styled musical about fame, failure and family set in the world of America's favorite pastime - baseball - where curveballs reign and the Gods know all.

With music and lyrics by Terry Cashman of Talkin' Baseball fame, Once Upon A Pastime portrays the life of Mac McCarty, a one-time great baseball prospect, from the early loss of his father to his own trials filling that role with his daughter, Sandy. Following a career-ending injury, Mac and his childhood friend, Shep, open The Bullpen, a baseball-themed bar in Florida. They struggle but survive until a mysterious and menacing character, T.C. Raymond, ignites a series of events threatening their very existence. However, the Baseball Gods of Mac's imagination have been watching over him for a long time. Mayhem ensues when the Gods materialize and try to help Mac avert disaster.
