It's that time again #ShiningStarrs...Webseries Wednesday!
This week we are checking out actress, writer, producer Nicolette Ellis' series, Mistake. Nicollette is an actress in some dope digital work, including BET's Brooklyn Blue Sky, Makeup X Breakup Seriesand Blavity's Situationships. She has been sprinkling her black girl magic all over the place for these dope series, and in 2016 she created her OWN...Mistake Series.
Season one was very successful for the show. With more than 20,000 views for episode one and two, they averaged about six thousand views for the rest of the season's episodes (with several reaching 8 - 10K). Now as they work to create SZN2, entitled "Everybody's Gotta Eat," they are raising funds to employ an all black crew, an ethnically diverse cast and to make amazing work for you all to enjoy.
I know Nicolette personally. We met at an audition randomly, but I knew of her and her work. Then I was blessed to play a small role on Makeup x Breakup. While we did not film together, she was so supportive and amazing that over time we vibed and kept in touch. I think she is beautiful, talented and ambitious. She is an asset to the industry and I want to see her reach her goal and then some. Her support is vast and I hope that you will become a part of that.
You can check out her campaign HERE and peep her video below. Please share, support and indulge in Season One of MistakeSeries!

Nicolette Ellis has geared up for Season 2 of her family drama web-series Mistake Series. The show speaks on plenty of issues that are often completely overlooked when it pertains to the African-American community. We feel it is our duty to continue to shed light on issues that plague our people and strive to be the voice and vision for those who are going through the same thing as these characters. The incredible journey has just begun, and we want you to see where each and every storyline goes. We would love the opportunity to continue sharing this journey with you all, creating a story that shows how everything unfolds, and who is left standing when the dust finally settles
